I need to vent a Boiler, Water Heater, or other gas-fired appliance. Where do I start? For starters, it is helpful for us to know the make & model of the appliance you're venting. Even better, if you can send us a sketch of flue routing showing all centerline-to-centerline dimensions from the appliance outlet to termination, we can lay out your system, with adequate support and applicable accessories to help ensure a trouble-free and code compliant installation. Give us a call at 513.721.2726 x1003 or use our contact form. We'll walk you through every step of the way.

Did you know your boilers and water heaters can save up to 10% fuel and increase capacity with a demand-controlled venting system?Even with the most difficult designs these intelligent, demand-controlled exhaust systems deliver perfect draft at all times by constantly adjusting exhaust, combustion air and heat recovery based on real-time demand. You get unprecedented results for your commercial boilers and water heaters, with very little effort: - Reduced CO2 emissions, fuel saving up to 5-10% annually - Materials & labor savings with combined chimneys & smaller diameters - Smaller footprint; saves around $15,000 worth of space in a 20-story building - Ability to hide chimney terminations & large air louvers - Redundancy for critical installations - Improved boiler room safety with CO monitoring - A perfect fit for any building design Contact us today at 513.721.2726 x1003 to learn more!

Why is Control of Combustion Air Supply so Important?Delivering the exact amount of combustion air needed for mechanical rooms, such as those in commercial laundry rooms – or anywhere the demand for applications is varied and difficult to manage. ENERVEX's Modulating Combustion Air Supply System senses when no appliances are running and operates at a very low speed, maintaining a neutral pressure in the boiler room at any time. Can I Recover Waste Heat From a Flue?ENERVEX’s VHX Economizer is a Waste Heat to Water (WHW) heat exchanger that converts exhaust waste heat into hot water. The VHX is designed around our modular hybrid micro-channel/plate heat exchanger modules that are extremely efficient, yet compact. It is extremely versatile and can serve dual uses such as supplying hot water to a Waste Heat to Power (WHP) system while simultaneously supplying hot water to a separate application. Compared by physical size it produces 200% to 300% more savings than a traditional economizer. In many applications and processes, as much as 20 to 50% of the energy consumed is ultimately lost via waste heat in streams of hot exhaust gases or from heated product streams. Where can the waste heat be used? A Waste Heat to Water (WHW) system can generate hot process water, potable hot water, and hot water for building heating. But it is also an essential component in most WHP systems. We design and supply packaged WHW to WHP solutions. A WHW system can reduce fuel consumption by 5-10% and typically pays for itself in less than two years. Taking advantage of waste heat is not only profitable, but practical. The VHX solutions can be an essential part of a company’s Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and initiatives. Conctact us today at 513.721.2726 x1003 to learn more!
